We booked a one day Ubud tour with Mama Bali Tour super last minute,the night before! Even though it was already late, Kiki patiently replied to all our messages and helped us plan the itinerary. She was super responsive and easy to talk to.

During the trip, we visited Bali Swing, Saraswati Temple, Ubud Market, rice terraces, and a waterfall. The schedule had to be adjusted a bit because of traffic, but Kiki made sure we could still visit everything we wanted. Everything went smoothly thanks to her.

Kiki was incredibly patient the whole time. She never rushed us, and she always made sure we were comfortable. At the waterfall, which had tons of stairs and was quite exhausting, she didn’t hesitate to come with us. She even helped take our photos and kept our stuff safe while we are swinging.

With two days in Bali, we (mother and daughter) chose Mama Bali Tours for our private tour. As soon as Kiki picked us up from the cruise terminal, we talked as if we were old friends. We chose to visit the silversmith’s village, Luwak Coffee Plantation, Ubud Temple, and Le Mayeur (which is technically not one of the choices but she kindly accommodated it, as it was on the way back to the cruise terminal). We admired this sweet New Zealand–born artist’s works focusing on Indonesia and the South Pacific and enjoyed chatting with her. Very pleasant ten hour tour with a very good driver. The Ubud Jungle Swing Thing is nothing special but the rice fields and Campuhan ridge walk are worthwhile. Be prepared for lots of time in the car, it’s unavoidable here.

They provide female drivers with comfortable cars, which made me feel safe on full day tours through treacherous jungle, mountain roads.

I will never forget waking up to the most incredible sunset above the clouds at Mount Batur. I loved visiting the secret temples and beaches in East Bali, swimming with the bioluminescent plankton and dolphins in Lovina, and catching a glimpse of the rice fields and Mount Agung along the way to spiritual Ubud. While in Ubud, I got to make my own jewelry in a Silver Class, ride an ATV and go rafting through the jungle. Don’t forget to visit a few waterfalls and natural springs!

Mama Bali Tours also booked my boat tickets for Gili Islands and Nusa Penida at a discounted rate. They helped me navigate the port at Padang Bai and Sanur, which can be confusing without a guide. Snorkeling with the Mantas is a must!
